Perform C/I and C/N Analysis
Sat-Coord can be used to interrogate and retrieve information from most ITU database files (including the SRS, IFIC and SPS database files) quickly and accurately. Search criteria can be defined to retrieve just the information you need, and the results can be exported to any text or CSV compatible application.
These database files can also be used to retrieve carrier information and Sat-Coord can retrieve the information required on the most interfering and most sensitive carriers in order to carry out a C/I or C/N analysis. An example of this is shown below.

C/I Interference Analysis
This Microsoft Excel based part of Sat-Coord supports the satellite network frequency coordination process by calculating matrices of inter-system interference and margin, for any user-specified pair of satellite networks.
These charts allow identification of interference, and allow real time re-calculations during coordination meetings in order to try to overcome these interference problems.
In the example to the right, and below, the inter-system interference between two fictional networks TEST-SAT A and TEST-SAT B has been found in the Ku-Band Uplink.
The diagram on the right shows the C/I margin between the most interfering and most sensitive carriers.
From the diagram areas of negative margin can be found, and worked on during the meeting to try and reduce them as much as possible.
ITU-R Recommendations S.740, S.741, S.483, S.671, S.466, S.735, S.465, S.580 and S.523 are used extensively and embedded in the Sat-Coord C/I analysis software.
